The Champion of Hope Award is the highest honor presented at Villa of Hope’s Portraits of Hope Gala, recognizing an extraordinary individual or organization whose commitment and contributions have made a profound impact significant impact in the lives of youth, adults and their families in the Rochester community and on our mission. 

This prestigious award celebrates those who embody the spirit of hope, empowering individuals and families to overcome challenges, rebuild their lives, and achieve brighter futures.

2025 Honoree

Mike Amico

A long-standing supporter of the Villa, Mike served on the Board of Directors, on the Executive Committee,
Finance Committee and Nominating Committee of the Board, and served a term as Board Chair.

Mike, along with his wife Nela, were the hosts of our 2017 75th Anniversary Portraits of Hope Gala.
